This mixed-use project qualifies as a transit-oriented development (TOD) given its short walking distance to the LA Metro “Lake” Station. The ground level includes 6,000 sf of commercial space to activate Walnut Street which serves pedestrians who travel to and from the Gold Line station three blocks away. Building forms, colors and materials were all designed to fit contextually with the culturally-rich buildings of this eclectic and artistic Pasadena neighborhood. Residents enjoy a central elevated courtyard with pool and fitness center while a courtyard at the ground level provides an enjoyable space for public use. Yielding a total of 91 units, the buildings range from three to five stories in height.
